Dean Kelland (b.1973) has been appointed to the third residency at HMP Grendon from 1 August 2019 – 31 July 2022. This programme has been supported by the Marie-Louise von Motesiczky Charitable Trust since 2010, and has been run by Ikon Gallery (Birmingham) since 2014.

After a two-year renovation, the renamed and revamped Tricycle Theatre opened at the beginning of September 2018, with acknowledgements to the contribution of the Marie-Louise von Motesiczky Charitable Trust to the capital campaign. Marie-Louise’s photograph in Chinese costume from a 1927 theatre production in Frankfurt, is displayed in one of the foyers.
